While the Emporium Gallery is responsible for the majority of the gallery's programming through its curation and outreach, the gallery is nonetheless open to submissions by both established and emerging artists (of any medium) from anywhere in the world for consideration for future programming.
The Emporium Gallery asks that all prospective applicants;
1. Download the PDF submission form here
2. Comprehensively fill out the submission form.
3. Adhere to the guidelines as they relate to the delivery of image and/or video files.
4. Respect that this is the only avenue for submission.
Applicants that do not respect the submission guidelines (e.g ignore the submission form, improperly complete the submission form, do not deliver image and/or video files with respect to the gallery's technical requirements or apply informally- disregarding the defined submission process) will in no way be considered for gallery programming.
The Emporium Gallery's submission review board considers every submission that is received. Submissions are reviewed by the gallery's submission review board and are judged in respect of the following criteria;
* the degree of consolidation in regards to the applicant's artistic identity
* the quality of the applicant's artist statement
* the level of ingenuity present in the applicant's exhibition proposal
* the level of creativity present in the applicant's artwork
PLEASE NOTE - The Emporium Gallery, as a space, is not available for rent by artists.
