October 2009

Needless to say, the past few months have been incredibly busy at The Emporium Gallery as we were privileged to exhibit No Henge by Seripop, The Vice Photo Show, Growing Up by Patrick Tsai and Coley Brown, Teenage Nudes by Dave Arnold, I am Sorry. Sincerely, Frankenstein by Gordon Ball, Black on Black by Doug Brown and Sinisterly yours, Glamnation by Dennis Chow. It was a season full of interesting exhibits, new faces and memorable openings.

In the next few months we'll be presenting new exhibitions by Montreal's Hatchmatik (a multimedia mix tape of video and oversized prints), Sweden's Agnes Thor (a new collection of photographs that concern her new relationship to nature and voyage of discovery), Montreal's Robby Reis (a mixed media exhibition destined to be bold and commanding) and Australia's Joel Birch (graphic illustrations with a focus on typography).

Lastly, we'd like to thank Bierbrier for continuing to supply us with beer and all the incredibly supportive local publications, blogs and patrons that endorse and promote what we do.
