D-DAY by Dave Arnold
Presented in partnership with Switzerland CS
Ran from Friday, June 6th 2008 to Wednesday, June 11th 2008
D-DAY was Dave Arnold's first solo exhibition. Much like D-DAY, the unlikely invasion of Nazi occupied France during WWII, Arnold's D-DAY was also an awe inspiring blitzkrieg. However, Arnold's preferred ammunition was exceptionally bold, Pop Art paintings and absurd sculptures- both of which bombarded attendees. The opening, which featured the distribution of pornographic pins and live tattooing performed by Arnold, was undoubtedly the Emporium's most outrageous show to date.
